Regional buses run directly from Grimma to the Wilhelm Ostwald Park stop, from Colditz to the Schule stop, from there about 500 m to the park entrance.

From Leipzig and Döbeln there is a direct connection with the regional train 110 to Großbothen. From the stop it is 1.5 km to Wilhelm Ostwald Park.

Coming from the north on the A14, take the Grimma exit and follow the B107 towards Colditz until shortly after entering the town.
Coming from the south, follow the B 107 to the end of Großbothen. Parking spaces are available on the premises.

Cyclists can use the Mulderadweg and turn off in Kleinbothen in the direction of Ostwald Park.
